Zaid al Fekaiki
Born in Baghdad in 1964.
HND in Electromechanical Engineering.
Zaid Ai -Fekaiki is the Founder of Save Iraq's Children, an Association which hosts art and live music events to raise money to support children who lack access to education due to the loss of one or both parents.
"I remember playing in the garden when I was young, combining clay with river water to create shapes and mini-sculptures. I did not realise my ambition - I took the step to find myself through art, capturing emotion and movement expressed through sculpture is my aim, it truly is protection of my sanity."
