Terry Merritt

I graduated from Chichester University in 2020 with B.A. (hons) Degree in Fine Art with Sculpture.

I carve beautiful tactile sculptures mainly from stone, also wood, that are semi realism and sensual abstraction which creates a great desire to stop, observe, and touch.

I am inspired by the natural beauty of the human anatomy, human gestures, and movement.

I explore the human body combining curves, lines, and negative voids in the form of abstraction, some of my sculptures rotate on their bases.
I enjoy experimenting with different themes, mediums, and styles.
In 2021 one of my sculptures titled “Embrace” was chosen to be exhibited at the famous London Art Biennale 2021 alongside 466 other Artists from all over the World.
